We built the directory we wished existed
We got tired of searching for doctors on directories with three-year-old data, ads disguised as results, and no way to tell if a provider even takes your insurance. So we built something better.

Our story
Healthcare discovery is broken
Try finding a new therapist. Or a dentist who takes your insurance. You'll land on directories with data from three years ago, paid listings disguised as top results, and zero information about cost or wait times.
We kept having that experience. So we started pulling provider data from federal databases (NPI records, state licensing boards, CMS data) and building something different. A directory that tells you what other directories won't: real reviews, real costs, real response times.
FindClarity is an information platform for patients. Providers can claim and improve their profiles, but the patient experience comes first. Paid features exist to fund the platform, not to distort search results.

What we believe
Four things we won't compromise on
We use these to make product decisions. When two options conflict, this list is the tiebreaker.
Clarity over clutter
If a piece of information doesn't help someone pick a provider, we cut it. You'll never see "call for pricing" on FindClarity.
Patients first, always
When patient interests and provider interests conflict, patients win. We don't sell paid placement as organic results, and we never sell patient data.
Radical transparency
We show costs, negative reviews, and actual response times. Most directories bury this stuff because it scares off advertisers. We don't have advertisers.
Earned trust
We check our data against federal sources, fix mistakes when we find them, and never sell or share patient information. Period.
Built for real people
Someone searching for a therapist at 11pm doesn't need a prettier directory. They need features that actually help them decide.
Vibe Tags read hundreds of patient reviews and pull out the personality stuff that credentials don't cover. “Warm & Friendly.” “Great with Kids.” “Never Rushed.” You can see what a provider is like before you walk through the door.
Drive time filtering shows how long it actually takes to get there, not just how far away it is on a map. A provider three miles away across a bridge during rush hour? That's 40 minutes. One eight miles down the highway? Twelve minutes. Distance is the wrong metric.
Save, share, and inquire all work in one tap. Bookmark providers you want to compare. Text a profile to your partner. Send a message to the front desk. The response goes to your email, and none of it requires an account.
Every feature goes through the same question: does this help someone pick a provider? If the answer is “it helps us, not the patient,” we don't build it.

Our journey
From idea to 5.6 million records
Research and architecture
We tried every major healthcare directory as patients and documented what was broken. Stale data, paid placements mixed into results, missing insurance info. The list was long.
Platform development
Built the data pipelines to aggregate and cross-reference millions of provider records from government sources. Crafted an industry-leading search experience. Wired up provider verification.
Public launch
Went live with 5.6 million provider records covering 68 specialties. Free to search, free to contact providers, no account required.
Enrichment and intelligence
Launched the Clarity Score, our proprietary quality metric that providers earn but can't buy. Added handcrafted provider bios, real office photos, patient review analysis, and 2,800+ automated tests to keep everything honest.
Who we are
Built by FulcrumOps
FindClarity is built and operated by FulcrumOps, a small engineering team. We're bootstrapped on purpose. No venture capital means nobody telling us to add more ads or sell patient data.
We run lean. We keep our infrastructure tight so we can focus on building a better product instead of chasing funding to cover overhead we don't need.
