These terms govern your use of FindClarity. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use FindClarity.

1. About FindClarity

FindClarity is a healthcare provider directory that helps patients find, compare, and connect with healthcare providers. We aggregate publicly available provider data, allow providers to claim and enhance their profiles, and give patients tools to make informed decisions about their care.

FindClarity is operated by FulcrumOps. Throughout these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to FindClarity and FulcrumOps. “You” refers to you, the person using our platform.

2. Your account

Some features require an account. When you create one, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian review these terms with you.

3. For patients

Medical disclaimer

FindClarity is an information resource, not a medical service. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Clarity Scores, Vibe Tags, Smart Match recommendations, and all other platform features are informational tools designed to help you find and evaluate providers. They are not clinical assessments. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

Provider information

We work hard to keep provider information accurate, drawing from public databases, provider-submitted data, and third-party sources. That said, details like accepted insurance, office hours, and availability can change without notice. We recommend confirming important details directly with a provider's office before scheduling an appointment.

Board actions and license data

FindClarity displays board action and license information sourced from state licensing boards, the NPPES registry, and other publicly available government databases. This data is reproduced as-is from those sources and may not reflect the most recent status of a provider's license or disciplinary record. We recommend verifying board action data directly with the relevant state licensing board before making care decisions based on that information.

Providers who believe their board action or license data displayed on FindClarity is inaccurate may request a correction by contacting us at [email protected] with documentation from the relevant licensing authority. We will review and update the data within a reasonable timeframe.

Inquiries

When you send an inquiry to a provider through FindClarity, your name, email address, and message are shared with that provider so they can respond. We don't guarantee a response or any specific response time, though we do track and display average response times for transparency.

4. For providers

Claiming your profile

If you're a licensed healthcare provider, you can claim your profile on FindClarity. Claiming requires identity verification through one of our supported methods (practice email, phone/SMS, or manual review). By claiming a profile, you confirm that you're authorized to represent the provider listed.

Profile accuracy

Once you've claimed a profile, you're responsible for keeping it accurate and up to date. This includes your specialties, accepted insurance, office locations, hours, and any services or pricing you choose to display. Misleading or false information may result in profile suspension.

Responding to patients

We don't mandate specific response times, but we do track and display response metrics so patients can see how quickly providers typically reply. Consistent non-responsiveness may affect your profile's visibility.

Reviews

You may not suppress, manipulate, or incentivize reviews. You may respond to reviews publicly, and we encourage constructive, professional responses. If you believe a review violates our content guidelines, you may flag it for our review.

5. Content and reviews

Your content

When you post reviews, comments, or other content on FindClarity, you retain ownership of that content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use it in connection with operating the platform. You can delete your content at any time, which revokes this license (except for cached or archived copies that will expire in the normal course of operations).

Content guidelines

All content posted to FindClarity must be:

  • Honest: based on genuine personal experience
  • Respectful: no harassment, hate speech, threats, or personal attacks
  • Relevant: related to the healthcare experience being reviewed
  • Legal: not defamatory, not infringing on anyone's rights, and not disclosing private medical information about others

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

6. AI-generated content and algorithms

How we use artificial intelligence

FindClarity uses artificial intelligence and algorithmic processing to enhance the platform experience. We believe in being transparent about where and how AI is involved. The following types of content may be generated, enhanced, or influenced by AI systems:

  • Biographical summaries: provider profile bios created from publicly available data (NPI registry, licensing boards, practice information)
  • Vibe Tags: short descriptive labels (e.g., “Warm & Friendly,” “Thorough Explanations”) derived from review analysis and public profile data
  • Insurance acceptance indicators: inferences about accepted insurance plans based on public records and aggregated data, which may not reflect a provider's current panel status
  • Operating hours estimates: inferred from public listings and may not reflect current hours
  • Smart Match recommendations: provider type suggestions generated by matching your stated concerns and preferences against our specialty mapping data
  • Patient guides: educational content about healthcare topics and provider types

Clarity Score

The Clarity Score is an algorithmically computed quality metric that evaluates providers based on multiple data signals including profile completeness, verification status, patient engagement, and public data quality. The Clarity Score is not a clinical quality rating and should not be interpreted as a measure of medical competence. It is a transparency tool that reflects the quantity and quality of publicly available information about a provider.

Limitations and your responsibility

AI-generated content is produced by automated systems and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should independently verify any AI-generated information before relying on it, particularly information about insurance acceptance, hours, and provider qualifications. Providers who have claimed their profiles can edit or replace any AI-generated content on their profile.

Featured and paid provider placement

Some providers pay for enhanced visibility on FindClarity, including featured placement in search results and on directory pages. Paid placements are visually labeled so you can distinguish them from organic results.

Paid placement does not influence a provider's Clarity Score. The Clarity Score is computed independently based on publicly available data signals and is never adjusted based on a provider's subscription tier or payment status. Organic search ranking is similarly independent of paid status.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from FindClarity without written permission
  • Use the platform for spam, phishing, or distributing malware
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
  • Use FindClarity to collect personal information about other users for commercial purposes
  • Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the platform without our consent

8. Intellectual property

The FindClarity name, logo, design, and original content are our intellectual property and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not use our branding without written permission.

Provider data sourced from public databases (NPI Registry, state licensing boards) remains in the public domain. Our compilation, organization, enrichment, and presentation of that data is proprietary.

9. Payments and subscriptions

Provider subscriptions

FindClarity offers free and paid tiers for healthcare providers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods, but you'll retain access to paid features until your current period ends.

Price changes

We may adjust subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change affects their account. If you don't agree with a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

Other paid features

Some features (such as featured listings or market intelligence reports) may have their own pricing and terms, which will be presented to you before purchase.

10. Disclaimers

Important

FindClarity is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any information on the platform.

Specifically, we do not warrant that:

  • Provider information is always current or error-free (insurance networks, hours, and availability change frequently)
  • The platform will be uninterrupted or free of technical issues
  • Any provider found through FindClarity will meet your specific needs
  • Reviews or ratings reflect the experience you'll have
  • AI-generated content, including Vibe Tags, biographical summaries, and Smart Match recommendations, is accurate or complete
  • Board action, license, or disciplinary data sourced from third-party public databases is current or error-free

We do our best to verify provider credentials and maintain accurate data, but we are an information platform, not a credentialing or vetting service. Always verify a provider's credentials independently, especially before beginning treatment.

Third-party data

Provider profiles include data sourced from government registries, state licensing boards, and other publicly available third-party databases. We reproduce this data as-is and are not responsible for its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Our liability for displaying third-party sourced public safety data (including board actions, license status, and disciplinary records) is limited to the extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FindClarity and its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes (but is not limited to) damages arising from:

  • Reliance on provider information displayed on FindClarity, including AI-generated or algorithmically computed content
  • Reliance on board action, license, or disciplinary data sourced from third-party public databases
  • Interactions or disputes between patients and providers
  • Unauthorized access to your account
  • Service interruptions or data loss

Our total liability for any claim related to FindClarity shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FindClarity and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

You may stop using FindClarity and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if we're required to do so by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that should survive termination (such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.

14. Dispute resolution

We'd prefer to resolve any disagreements informally. If you have a concern, please contact us at [email protected] and we'll work to address it within 30 days.

If informal resolution isn't possible, you and FindClarity agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. You may opt out of arbitration by notifying us in writing within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Arbitration will take place in California. Each party bears its own arbitration costs, except as otherwise required by law.

Class action waiver: You agree that any disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. If arbitration is opted out of or not enforceable, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date and notify you through a banner on the site or by email. Continued use of FindClarity after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

If you disagree with updated terms, you should stop using FindClarity and close your account.
